The ONLY treatment that gets rid of my sciatica is as-needed Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections. Many, many years of relief in between needing the injections.
A chiropractor managed to get rid of my sciatica, but in the end my disk ruptured, and I had to have surgery. That cured it once and for all.
I never found anything to give me relief from sciatica otherwise. If I didn't mow my own lawn or shovel snow or ever get pregnant, I probably would never have had it, but oh well -- too late to return the children now. 😉
For what it's worth, though, this thing is great. I didn't have one before my back surgery, but whenever I tweak my back in the garden (a whole different type of pain than sciatica, though), laying on this for a few minutes helps a lot.

I get it that lower back tweaks are not sciatica related, but this is relevant to me, thank you. I'll probably get one of these lumbar stretch devices you linked -- looks like it's made well with the different levels.
I used to have this blue plastic thing, shaped sort of like a bike seat, that allowed for more of a pelvis stretch and helped my minor sciatica symptoms. It was terrific, but I lost it in a move, and I've never been able to find a replacement. More recently, I bend backwards over an exercise ball.
I wear a back brace now whenever I sit at my desk for a while. I don't need one at work when I'm mostly on my feet, but I need it for sitting/slouching/bending. It's also described as a slimmer/girdle, to which I say, "All the better." lol It keeps the discs in my lower back better aligned, with no tweak. The last 18 months are the longest I've gone in with no back spasms/tweaks. I credit this brace and more regular magnesium supplements.

I don't know how to find the link for social media sharing, so I hope that works.
