Has anyone's LO with Dementia/Alzheimer's experienced the 'Doorway effect'? For instance your LO is watching TV in the den. They go to the bathroom in another room&then forgot where they previouslywere?
"Doorway effect" can happen to anyone, any age, any mental capacity. But for someone with dementia this is one of the reasons that they need to be supervised 24/7/365
Heck, I don't need dementia to have that. It happens to everyone, because the thought occurs in one setting, but going into another room becomes a new setting.
