My husband wears a pad and moves it to one side but can’t control the flow and gets his clothing all wet. Any suggestions?

What sort of a 'pad' is your husband wearing, and why would he be moving it to one side when he feels the urge to urinate? Naturally he's going to get his clothing all wet by doing such a thing, and b/c a pad is not large enough, nor does it have enough absorbency, to contain a full release of urine. Incontinence briefs like Depends are made for just this purpose, and a booster pad can be inserted into the brief at night to help add MORE absorbency to it.

Get him a urine bottle which can help; when he feels the urge to go, he can use the bottle instead of fiddling around with a pad. That would solve the issue better than anything, but he can wear Depends just in case of accidents.

Buy incontinence briefs for him and take away all other underwear so he doesn't have a choice. He will have to wear them if he wants underwear on.

Also, they make clothing for people with dementia so that they can't change or remove the clothes without help.
