My mom passed and my dad's health got really bad very fast. During this time the neighbor who was my dad's legal advisor she's a paralegal she Drew up his will and handled all his legal documentation. She and my brother got together and had my dad sign a power of attorney over to her and then behind my back they proceeded to still my inheritance. They did things like the power of attorney they added my brother to the bank accounts they put my brother on the deed of the house everything that they could do so that the will was basically null and void by the time my dad passed all of these things which were done behind my back. I would like to be able to prove that my dad was incompetent when he signed the power of attorney so that I could get Justice.

The thing is you have to move quickly before everything is gone
Yes this is NJ but there must be some kind of certification in other States. These people do research for lawyers and must be accurate.
I would consult with an estate lawyer. POA has limitations. You will have to prove that Dad was not capable of making informed decisions at the time. You will probably need a doctor putting this in writing. I would wonder why she made herself POA and not your brother. Not sure if there is a conflict of interest here. I do think its kind of fishy that your brother was placed on Dads accounts when she was the POA. Not sure if she has the authority to do that. Her being placed as POA yes but not the authority to have ur brother placed.
I think your entitled to some answers here. Doesn't seem to me a POA has the right to change what already is in place. Especially a deed to a house. Sometimes lawyers will not charge for a consult. And if they do, wouldn't it be nice to know where you stand legally and if the Paralegal did things legally. If anything, I would want her certification revoked.
