There are many lists of "stages" you can google and get any number of lists. I never put much stock in a "list" or "stages" There were things my Husband could not do and he should have been able to. There were things that he should not have been able to do and he could. With my Husband he would have a sudden decline literally over night he would not be able to do something that he was able to do the day before. It would throw off any category that he would have been pigeonholed into . I just accepted that he was continuing to decline sometimes faster, sometimes slower and I would be grateful for what he could still do. And I would mourn what he lost the ability to do.
