My mom is in a nursing home laying flat on her back 24-7. It is because that is what she wants. We offer to let her sit in her recliner or wheelchair but she refuses. Are there any beds you can recommend that would make her more comfortable? We currently have her in a hospital be with a remote so she can put her head up or down. We have tired one of those air mattresses and she does not like it. Also, any type of chair/bed combo? Thanks!

The staff should be turning her whether she likes it or not unless there’s a reason not to.
You could get a wedge to put under her knees.
I’m baffled by most of this and wonder why she’s calling the shots.
And even though your mom prefers to be flat on her back in her bed, I hope and pray that the folks at her nursing facility are coming in every few hours to turn her so she doesn't develop bedsores.
