I used Alexa devices to help me monitor my mom and her caregivers.

I found it easy to set them up and could access the cameras on them from my phone. I could also use them to play music to relax or entertain, where ever she was in the house.
However, I hate them and hate having tracking and monitoring things in my house that are completely accessible by outside sources.
So, now that Mom has passed, I am sending them all back (shipping paid) to the Amazon trade in program and getting credit to buy things I actually want.
I thought some one might benefit from knowing about this program.

Thanks. I also used the program to return my mom's kindle when she was no longer able to read ebooks. I had gotten her a top-of-the-line Oasis because it was the only one that still had page forward and back buttons. She had trouble with touch screens and kept getting lost many pages ahead or behind her place.
I tried teaching her to use the Alexa devices, thinking it would be a way for her to see and talk to me if she needed me at night. She was beyond the point of being able to learn new technology however. Now, she can no longer use even old, familiar technology.
Hope you're doing OK, you have my sympathy for your loss.
