I am so sorry, but this is a question that would be hard for us to answer. You will just need to do some detective work. You will need a list of all the ALs in Queens. Then you start calling asking if you can have the room# (for only ur mothers name) you want to send her a card. Do not identify yourself as her child. Just a friend wanting to send a card. When they say no one by that name lives there, u say sorry but u thought this was the name u were given. Then go on to the next. She is probably near to brother so start with those.
Check the internet by her name and her last address. Sometimes you will find every address she lived under including her AL if brother did a change of address. For tax purposes he needs to.
Call the Post Office and see if a change of address has been put thru. Send a card to the last address and see if it comes back with the new address on it.
How about asking your other family members where she is? Or calling some of her friends? If that fails hire a private investigator. No one here can help you find where your mother is since this forum is a support group for caregivers and not a detective agency.

I wish I could come up with something other than what we have come up with so far, but I think we know about as much as you do. So sorry for this.
