I deal with loneliness, anxiety and depression. Where can I find therapy?

I lost my 21 yr old daughter in 2017 and suffer with the fear, anxiety and depression. I can't find therapy. I need help with finding someone to talk to. I'm 55 yr old.

Many churches host grief support groups and sliding scale fee counseling services. You do not have to be a member or even a believer.

Or, BetterHelp.com (online, affordable, accessible).

May you receive peace in your heart as you heal and move through it all.

I would say that your PCP should be able to find you help. Your insurance company should have a list of providers. In my area, there is a clinic with therapists and psychiatrists. Maybe there is a minister that has training who can help.

Condolences.
The new 988 national hotline says it's for "Anyone who is depressed, going through a hard time, needs to talk," It could be a good place to start.

Do you have health insurance?
Can you tell me what you have done to seek therapy and why you have not been able to get it, Pamela? This is a long time.
The diagnosis of "Prolonged Grieving" (which is what you have) is a part of the DSM-5 now (which means it is covered by most insurance of all kinds). You fall in that category in terms of time.

Do you work? Have friendships? Have a faith-based or hobby community?
What measures have you taken to get help for yourself.

I am so sorry for your grief and my heart goes out to you.
