Find a nice Assisted Living. Tell Mom she will vacation there while ur away. They usually have furnished rooms. It will be like staying in a hotel. She will have help when needed. Dine with other residents and join in activities. If she is mobile enough maybe go on an outing.

Try Visiting Angels, or if she is a member of a church maybe the church has a group that does member assistance. Check with a local nursing home may have a respite option for you.
Who lives in your area who is supportive now? Is there any other family? Is mother safe on her own so long as she has someone to call in an emergency, and IS THERE someone?
