I assess by observing the person with dementia, I have not found any of these preset steps to be accurate as each person progresses at a different rate and in a different manner.
For me, it makes no difference, I pivot as needed, making certain that the LO is well taken care of.
I am uncertain why or what info you are looking for, but start here: https://www.alzheimers.net/stages-of-alzheimers-disease/.
Then go online and look up "staging dementia". Know that your doctor is the best judge in the individual case. But much can be learned online.
Watch Teepa Snow. All of her you can find, youtube and otherwise. Staging doesn't tell you a whole lot. Cases of dementia are about as individual as your own fingerprint and as unpredictable, but you can get a sort of baseline feel with information.
Alz.org also a good site to begin some research on. And I sure wish you the best with finding whatever info you're after.
