There are cameras that you can set up and you can use your phone to monitor her. You do say she is in Assisted Living. Is the reason you need a monitor because her care needs exceed what the AL facility can do? If so rather than looking for a monitor it might be time to look for a facility that can meet her needs.
If your looking for an electronic monitor try a baby monitor if your in the same house or if you are in a separate location I used RING the battery operated one. There are several different kinds of monitors out there you just need to do your research.
