As of February 2nd my landlord found out my mom was living in my one bedroom apartment. It's supposed to only be me here. She is in hospice care at my place. The landlord has given me 60 days to find her a place to go. I now have until April 1 and I still haven't located an assisted living facility for her. We have no other family in this state that can help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Then I will say....have you asked your hospice agency for their help, as they(their social worker)should be able to assist you in finding the appropriate facility.
Most hospice agencies do have hospice homes that your mom could go to also, but unless your mom is actively dying, her Medicare won't pay for her to stay there and she will have to pay out of pocket, which in all reality is about the same cost of a nursing facility, and her care will by far be much better at the hospice home than any nursing facility.
I wish you well in getting this all figured out and I pray that your stupid landlord will perhaps have change of heart(that is if he/she even has a heart.
The OP did not mention if the landlord was made aware Mom may be a future tenant as well.

On Hospice you can request "Respite" and they will place mom in either the Hospice In Patient Unit or in a facility that they have an arrangement with. That can be done easily,
And I have to ask....are there any 2 bedroom apartments in the building where you are? Would the landlord be willing to allow you to move to a 2 bedroom?
