In my State its called a CNA (Certified Nurses Aid) and HHA (Home Health Aid). A CNA does more hands on care the HHA more of the household duties. Both bathe, dress, ect. Our techical school gives the course. Check with your local Community College. My State Nursing Board certifies after a test is given. If this is true in your state, call the Nursing board to see where classes are given. Nursing homes in my area give the classes but then hire the CNA. Maybe one near you would allow you to train if ur willing to pay.
