Your Doctor can write a script for Physical therapy and a VNA Nurse to come into check on you . You can ask your Doctor to Hook you up with a social worker or therapist and they will help you with elder services such as meals on Wheels , A CNA ( Certified nurse assistant for bathing and Light housekeeping such as Laundry ) Medicare will cover so many Hours and a grocery shopper and to find a food bank . Apply for social security again . You will need medicare . Sorry you are going thru such a tough time .

You can also call Office on Aging or Adult protection services in your County.

Remove your surname from your profile. Listing your full name and city is not a good idea.

Not sure about the "immediately" part, but you need a social worker. Go online and search

[ your county ]+"social services"+"elder care"

For more immediate help, contact local churches and ask if they have an Elder Care ministry. You don't need to be a member or even a believer. My church does this and as long as we have enough volunteers, we do the best we can. BUT this is just a temporary solution -- no church or non-profit org could do this continuously full time for any one person. I wish you success in getting all the help you need!

Call your state's Department of Social Services. If you're disabled, I'll assume you're collecting disability and are on Medicaid. Your doctor will have to sign off on homecare being necessary for you.
