Seems only Medicare Advantages offer meals after a hospital stay.
"If you're in the hospital and then discharged home, your Medicare Advantage plan may offer delivery for 10 meals."
Looks like traditional Medicare does not.
"If someone is an inpatient in a hospital or a skilled nursing facility (SNF), Part A covers meals. It does not cover meal delivery to any other location."
As suggested, u need to call the Health insurance you have.
Do you have a supplemental policy of insurance? I would call them and ask them this question. Do know also that some entities such as Meal on Wheels is without cost to those who cannot afford a donation. Rehab will have social workers available to you in most cases and they are the perfect ones (if not them then the discharge planning nurse) to help you explore options. Best of luck.
