If a person is in an Assisted living, Memory care or Longterm care, the Nurses track their care. Care plans have to be in place. If your a family member, having POA is nice. The no accountability comes in when a resident has no Advocate. A complant can be filed with the State Ombudsman if family feels that a LO is not getting proper care. Even APS can step in.
