I put one of my stairlifts on my local Freecycle and later the other on Facebook marketplace. I let the guys who came for them disassemble them and haul them away. I figured if they took them apart they would have a pretty good idea of how to put them back together at home. I would not put anything on Facebook at $0 again, though. I found a nominal price works better. You get too many non-serious offerers who flake out on you.
