If you’re on the Medicaid waiver does your bank account have to be under $2000.00 all days of the month or the last day of the month?
My social security check was auto deposited 3 days early, before I transferred some money to pay my expenses. I transferred it the same day right after it was deposited.
I would say total assets under $2K at the time you submit your application. But 97yroldmom is correct, Medicaid is state specific and this is a global forum.
Medicaid is state specific. Waivers are not offered in every state. There are many Medicaid programs.
If I guessed with so little information and nothing to lose for me, I would say the last day of the month that the bank uses to report by. Sometimes there is a holiday or the last day falls on a weekend and an alternate day is used. This again would be state and bank specific.
And in the one case I am familiar with, it is only the last day of the month that the bank reports on.
This being very important for you, I hope you find the correct answer and post it for your easy reference for the future.
