dhornesby4, if your house was built in the past 10 years, most builders usually have a warranty to cover for this type of problem. If your house is around that time frame, you should have the warranty paperwork, it will give you info on whom to contact.
If there is no warranty, check with your county "council on aging" to see if there are any programs available to help you with your house, if not what do they suggest.
