Find Care & Housing
I found my local caregiver support group by just Googling caregiver support groups in my city.
I've been apart of mine since March 2018 and am still active in it even though my husband has been dead almost 4 years now. They literally saved my life when I was really in the throes of things with him.
I will ALWAYS recommend an in person support group first, as it's much more personal, but if not available, then one on Zoom, or this one is a good second choice.

Agingcare forum IS a support group.

You can go to Alz.org to find support groups and an 800 phone number to speak to someone as well. I believe they have a list of support groups for Alzheimer's/dementia caregivers all over the USA.

Another good source is Memory Care Assisted Living facilities in your area. They are known to have local support group meeting information.

You might go on your local NextDoor and ask if there are any. Check with your social workers whether in hospital or doctor office. Check your local council on aging and any faith based communities in your area. Ask as any senior living facilities or elder care socialization centers. Any elder centers at all in your area may have access. Basically treat it as a mystery you are investigating and look everywhere. Last word on Facebook is that you may CHOOSE to participate only for the good support of groups involved in all you are dealing with. You needn't use it for other things. Wishing you the best.

One last consideration, if you have access to any senior centers or to faith based churches you may want to consider STARTING a group of your own. I would say problematic in all these things is that often people cannot "get away" to attend much as they may want to. If you dabble with online you may want a zoom group meetup.
