My loved one sometimes eats and sometimes doesn't eat baby food. Because of the teeth. So periodically we get or are gifted with a variety of baby food. My loved one likes the snacks, like the puffs and flavored applesauce. This time we have organic carrots and parsnips and another one. There's nothing in it.

Was just wondering if anyone else uses it. My lived one has ALZ.

I only seldom used baby food, have you ever tasted it? It was really not difficult to modify normal foods, or to stick to things like smoothies, oatmeal, creamed soups (any soup can be whizzed with a stick blender), mashed potatoes etc that are normally easier to swallow. If you are wondering how to use up the gifted items I would think of them as ingredients - the veggies can be added to soups or to those mashed potatoes you might be making anyway, or to smoothies.

I don’t think it’s bad to use baby food due to the soft texture but I think puréed home cooked food would taste better. What about nice soups too? Add smoothies as well.

I pureed the same food that I would have myself. I would make lots of soup, I would puree his and have mine with chunks and pieces.
I even made pizza with the cauliflower crust and pureed that.
Ounce for ounce baby food is pretty expensive compared to pureeing food yourself.

I do at times. Especially after a dental procedure. Why not? Look at the ingredients. It's just pureed food. I've had some from time to time. It tastes like nothing. It's very bland.
