If I'm on SSDI and living with my parents, and at some point if one of my parents needed me to be their caregiver, would I have to tell SSDI? If I didn't tell SSDI how would they find out I was caring for my parents?

It's my understanding that SSDI means one has some type of disability that makes it difficult to be employed, is that correct? So, I am questioning how you would manage to be a caregiver to your parents, as caregiving is extremely challenging, physically and emotionally.
