She is now having in home physical therapy and occupational therapy, it's keeping her busy,
Being degenerative spine I expect it to come back.
Anyways I realized I can't handle when others are in pain. I just can't do it again.
I'm going to tell her that today, not that when she is in pain again , I'm sure she will call me but I'm done with watching her in server pain.
Anyone else feel this way?

I’m glad Mom is feeling better.

You don’t need to justify anything .
But if it helps to give your POA brother a reason that you need to step back , go for it .

A lot of people can’t watch a family member in pain.

It is hard to watch our LO in pain. Does she refuse pain meds? Do they not work for her?

She refuses, I'm not POA, POA does very little, so I'm going to tell him, I'm done when moms in pain, he needs to either take off work or figure something out. She is still in some pain but I can handle that

I am so glad your mom is getting therapy and that it is helping. Try to get the doctor who ordered the therapy to keep it ongoing.
My mom had OT for years as she could not use her right arm w/o the ongoing therapy but no osteoporosis. I know that is very difficult to manage. I’m glad for both of you that she is better.
