He is able to care for him with aides, but is getting slower both physically and cognitively. He's also becoming more tired with PD. His son has cerebral palsy, is blind, mentally challenged, and is in a WC. They are very vulnerable presently and need to be in a more stable environment. Thank you!

How old is your brother?
How old is his son?
Is your brother a Veteran? If so depending on where and when he served Parkinson's may be linked to his service. He may qualify for some help or a great deal of help.
(wondering if the son's disability could then be linked to dad's service)
If he is a Veteran contact your local Veteran's Assistance Commission.

Call your County Dept. Of Disabilities and see if they can help find him a place.

I think an important question to ask is: do either of them have a PoA? Or does the Dad have legal guardianship for his disabled son? I'm assuming he does... but who will be able to make important medical and care decisions for the Dad? PD is progressive and at some point he won't be able to do anything for himself, even make decisions and carry them out. He needs to assign a PoA or prepare a pre-need legal guardian document with an attorney. If he doesn't have this/do this then he will become a ward of a court-appoint guardian.
