She can and would speak for herself. I didn't have an attorney and didnt think I could afford one, but I have 15,000.00 to hire one now that I've been taking care of her since she quit driving almost 20 years ago. Her POAs are denying her a will or anything. I need help.

They've taken 40 acres of land out of her name.

We of course are getting "your side" in this story.
If POA are acting for your grandmother then she is no longer capable of acting for herself I am thinking.

No one can know what is meant by "taking property out of her name". Then whose name are they putting the property in. If you suspect fraud or abuse then call in APS so they can ask for details from the POA and satisfy themselves that records are correctly being kept.

We of course cannot act as judge nor jury in such a story. We can only wish you luck. And you will likely need every penny of 15,000 in a fight for guardianship over someone who has a POA THEY APPOINTED acting for them, and is not capable enough or competent enough to attend a court hearing on their own.

she was capable my uncles attorney made her stay in the other room she was going to ride to court with me an hour early but my uncle showed up made her ride with the chief of police since she didnt want to ride with him. she had our guardianship paperwork in her pocket she planned to hand it to the judge when she got into the courtroom i didnt have anattorney an didnt get to call her in the room at all for court. my uncle had 40 acres reassessed and taken out of her name she knows what theyre pulling sshe doesnt an neither did i understand any of the process to defend her
it all started she mentioned making me POA an my uncle threw a fit got in my face about it and by the time i had an attorney for her to sign documents with we ended up having to go to guardianship court 1/2 hour before that attorney was supposed to be at our house ive taken car of her 15 or more years and she can still speak for herself thats why she didnt ride with my uncle to court but the cop seemed to help my uncle
