I am making obvious progress. He did not do a physical evaluation when ending care. I filled out my evaluation which showed significant progress. The previous week he told me to go to a distant Orthopedic clinic for assessment. An appointment was made almost immediately. However, the clinic was not satisfactory to me, and the assessment took only minutes. I told him what I thought. He ended my therapy when I said this. What is happening? What should I do?
If you are expecting insurance or Medicare or Medicaid coverage, then the EXPERTS are honesty bound to give their private personal and PROFESSIONAL expert opinion on your condition, progress and chances of further process in "evaluations" that are recorded.
They would have no reason whatsoever to deny you care.
It's how they make their money.
Now, you have told us that you disagree with the expert assessment. So next step for you is to gather information on how to put in a letter of dissent with "appeal" of this decision; that may give you more time or more care. Discuss with whatever doctor originally ordered your physical therapy and with the admins where you received therapy.
Certainly you understand that a Forum of strangers can do little here but offer you our sympathy for this setback, and wish you the best of luck. I sure wish you good luck going forward.
