I agree w Grandma. Getting lunch or dinner or a similar thing for them would be less of a conflict of interest than giving cash.

Ask what the policy is. Many prohibit gifts above a set amount. You could always arrange a breakfast or lunch to be brought in for the day staff and a dinner for evening staff. That way you are not singling out any one particular person. Examples might be a selection of donuts and fruit, yogurt and coffee or hot chocolate, a selection of cold cuts, cheeses and bread or rolls, or pizza for both afternoon and evening.
A written letter for staff explaining how you feel that they are doing a great job caring for mom. A copy for their personnel file. A nice letter to the owner thanking her for the care that mom is getting and praising the Care Home

D2sek72, when my Dad had 3 shifts of caregivers, I gave $25 Target Gift Cards to those who were regularly scheduled. This was a few years back, I probably would give more now a days.

I’d ask the owner what would be appropriate for the aides and what’s been well received in the past. Do likewise for the owner
