I have issues with some of the results and the level of care being charged. How can I find out more about the Florida Health and Service Evaluation.

Then you ask for a Care meeting with the Nurse and Administrator to ask how they came to the decision that Mom needs the care she does.

Here is a list of ADLs, Activities of Daily Living

Dressing: Putting on and taking off clothes
Bathing: Showering or taking a bath
Toileting: Using the bathroom
Eating: Preparing and consuming meals
Transferring: Moving between different locations, such as bed, chair, or toilet
Continence: Controlling bladder and bowel functions

Out of the 6 my Mom needed help with 4. She could feed herself, but needed directing to the dining room. She had no problem transferring but she needed to be put to bed. She needed a little watching too, she had Dementia. There were 4 care levels at Moms AL and she was #4 the highest level of care.

As you can imagine, we being just a bunch of caregivers from around the USA, most of us will be as clueless about where to ask questions as you are.

As you have already made application, and I assume have copies, there must be some number somewhere in this thirty pages worth. I would call THAT number and ask your question.

Short of that, call directly to the Florida Health and Services department after Googling their information online.
Wishing you luck.
