Live with my 92 year old father, with whom I have always had a difficult relationship. He has been especially difficult regarding meals. He sometimes refuses to eat or drink and will not eat a low salt diet that has been prescribed for him. My siblings visit and are full of advice about all I do wrong. My brother is especially obnoxious and now has jumped on the low salt bandwagon, blaming me because my father was recently hospitalized. I'm not good at ignoring such unwanted advice and unwarranted accusations. My father uses these arguments as an opportunity to elicit sympathy from other siblings, moaning that we are annoying him and he wants to die. I know I should ignore my brother, but any other thoughts?
Brother is annoying with his nagging, but just probably worried.
Dad is annoying with his tattletailing & talk he wants to die, probably nothing much else to talk about. Likes to stir the pot. "Ok Dad, well if you want to die TODAY, hurry up, I've got other places to go, can't wait here all day" 😉
Worriers & Pot Stirrers.
Stir em up I say 😁
