I was wondering if there is any information on dementia getting worse in the winter months, and getting better in the spring. Kind of like sundowning dementia patients get but a seasonal sun down instead of a daily sundown.
I get that it's harder to get out in the winter, and the colder weather is harder on them. Every winter I see a mental decline in mom and then spring comes and it slowly gets better.
Looking for things to read or watch about this, and if it is a thing or just my mother.
And since it's still only April I have lots of time to learn more on how to deal with it.
