A good night's sleep, chocolate, the happiness and satisfaction of sharing on AgingCare forum. Does anyone have some favorite things to think about? Yes, this phrase is from the song in the movie "The sound of Music". My husband and I often resort to using movie lines and song to improve communication. We were the only two in a gathering of people who heard the background music playing. We both had the same (cassette tape/CD). A connection bringing two people together. To this day, we crack up when one uses a simple movie line to make a serious point.
SO, What is one of your favorite movie line, some of your favorite things?
Also, my favorite things are autumn, our two poodles and camping when no one else is around and its very quiet!
she loves to take me on walks outside on her harness, she snugs tight against my side at night... She and I are best friends, she has the best attitude always happy.
Unless of course I am nervous on the phone or about parent- then she howls and insists I hold her and calm down :) Love her.
Hoping everyone will have something good happen for you today.
Maybe it will be that the sky is blue, or maybe just that there is a sky.
"This is just temporary" is starting to become a habit! Sleeping will be my favorite for today. Or am I awake for a reason?

It is chilly here this morning, I had to plug in a heater for mom (eye roll) ... why can't it just stay a nice 72 degrees? I'm off to push myself out the door for some fresh air... ta ta!
"I''ll Take You There" is the title.
An old Staple Sisters song
There will be a place with no more suffering
There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day.....
Lyrics from a song by Jeremy Camp
Hubs sent an e-mail, everyone can sing this popular song..but the words ere struck me...
Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Struck me silly.....
So excited for you and your new doggy!
When hubs and I visited the dogs today, I was trying to explain how tiny your chuhuahua was. He said (just like in 101 Dalmations II) that they are so small you could have many more of the same dog underfoot, and this would be a good thing! Ha, ha, ha, lol, wouldn't 101 dogs be great? We wish.
