In one of your other posts u mentioned being a coguardian and someone questioned it and you didn't reply. Did you go to court to become Moms guardian? If u did, then brother would have to go to court to say why he wanted you removed and you could be there to contest it.

Yes we went to court and the judge made me and my brother co guardian but now he's taking me back to court to take me off .

If the co guardians cannot make decisions, I think the court can revisit the issue and appoint a single guardian. They can choose a family member or they can appoint a guardian who is not a family member and who would receive a salary.

It would probably be best if you and your brother could meet with a mediator and get on the same page about the decisions so you can continue as co guardians.

Yes, your brother can petition the court to have you removed IF he can prove that you have been negligent in your duties, have made unwise decisions for Mom’s care or have spent any monies that there is a question of not being for Mom’s care. You don’t give any details in this post of just why he’s feeling the need to do this, but he will need written proof that something you’ve done or not done for Mom warrants your removal.

I understand he can have me removed but he is in charge of her money he is a payee for her so there's nothing there also he called APS on me and they found nothing so I'm not sure what he has on me when he handles her money.
