House is in horrific condition. Auction will bring lot value. The house is a tear down. She owes car payment, credit card, heating oil balance, etc. Must turn over Soc. Sec and small pension to NH. Auction is approx. 60 days away. Title must not have any liens on it at time of auction. If the companies she owes get a PA judgement, can they put a lien on the house before the auction? Do I not tell any of them until after?
Once she gets whatever it brings, Medicaid will want "full rate" $9,610/mo. til she spends it all, right? Do all her bills go unpaid even after the house sells? Sorry to sound ignorant, I am her POA and I do not have experience, can't afford an attorney.
