Hi "Fabulous Forum Family!" Happy Friday! I hope everyone is doing wonderfully today!
So, there was an OP yesterday who asked a question: If the family member, who is doing all of the family care giving should receive more financial benefit than other siblings who have relinquished their role in this? And the advice and comments from everyone on this question was actually really helpful to my situation and I was hoping to re-read this post, but for some reason, I cannot seem to locate it ....could it perhaps have been removed?
I'm solely providing care giving responsibilities for elderly parents in addition to an 88 yr old single Aunt - and it's consumed me....every day, I try to find moments for my own life and it's fleeting - I don't even recognize my own life anymore - let along trying to find time to rebuild my own life, after many losses, and it's very worrisome to me. My sister just wants to live her life, totally focus on her own livelihood, dating, social life...and has been doing just that for all these years and acknowledged that she wants nothing more than to do just that. Reading yesterday's prior post with all of your very insightful and brilliant advice was so helpful to my situation...and now, I cannot find it on this site anymore...yikes!
Does anyone remember the post and the name of it? Is it still posted?
Much appreciation to you all - wishing you all a very Blessed and Peaceful Day (and a fun wkend)! xoxo
