The Area Agency on Aging in my area was able to find a senior day care for my mother. She attends 3 days a week for 6 hours and those 18 hours have been a life safer! Now I have time frames to schedule my own appointments, shop, take the youngest grand-nephew to the trampoline park, and sometimes even catch up on my sleep.

Time to rally the troops. Mention your situation to EVERYONE you speak with. There are often services available that you just don't know abut.
Start with senior services for your county and ask what is available. Ask at your house of worship. Ask neighbors and friends.
Services vary around the country . . . in my area, the Visiting Nurses Assoc has a corp of volunteers that will visit seniors or visit with them. Separately, one of the churches has a group of volunteers that visit homebound members or stay with the one in need of care while the other goes out.
