If you are in a hurricane damage area, is there emergency numbers you can contact, or fema? Call your electric company they may have a list of numbers, for emergency relief.

Best of luck

Call your local council on aging and speak with them about any ideas or options for you. I wish you the best of luck.

I have no idea what state Jasper County is in.

Are you currently without power due to the recent hurricane? If so you need to contact your local area's power company to tell them you are a senior without power. Or contact social services or APS for your county.

As for a generator, do you have the money to pay for the fuel? Are you able to drive to get the fuel? Just trying to figure out if this is a realistic solution for you...

You can put your request on Nextdoor.com (which is an intranet of your actual neighbors in your actual local community and not a global forum of strangers like this one). Maybe someone can loan you a generator. Maybe contact the Red Cross?

Contact your local Area Agency on Aging for help, or local Senior Center.
