My mom, Joan, has Alzheimers and is 86 years old. Recently she moved from Assistive Living to Memory Care. When she lived in Assistive Living, with her husband, she never disconnected her phone, now it is a daily problem. She lives to talk to her children, but the phone is always unplugged. HELP! Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks

You may just have to remove the phone. She probably is forgetting how to use it.

Every time we visit my FIL in MC, everything in his room is unplugged. We think he can’t figure out how to turn off the lamp or TV, so he just unplugs it. No telling why they do what they do. You can buy a baby proof cover for the phone jack. That might at least slow her down.

Maybe duct tape the cord down?
