Roof need fixing

Find Care & Housing
Even my homeowners insurance will not fix or replace my roof for "free" and I pay $4700 a year in premiums! If my roof gets damaged, they will pay on a sliding scale to fix it, depending on the age of the roof. Now that it's 11 years old, they'll pay 80% and I'll pay 20% of the total plus a $2500 deductible. I'm a senior too, btw. So that's how it goes these days. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

Good luck.

Are you a senior?

Contact your local Area Agency on Aging to see if there are any programs that you qualify for, or social services for your county.

What is your plan when something else large and expensive needs fixing in your home? There are no programs that I'm aware of that will continually fix your home just so you can live in it. Maybe consider downsizing and simplifying your life by selling your home before it loses value?
