My mom was hospitalized for blood clots and pneumonia she is better and was supposed to go back to the nursing home but the paperwork for Medicaid was not done correctly so now they won't let her back till I get financial information from my dad but they are estranged but still married how do I get this done without his info?

Who signed for her to be discharged? She should be in the NH "Medicaid pending".
I would call up dad and ask for the information. If he refuses, you tell him that you are putting her in an ambulance and that she will be delivered to his address.

I only spoke to the finance person and she went to her manager and told me they have no choice but to discharge her because i didnt have my fathers info i did explain the relationship but doesnt seem to matter. I would love to tell him that! he avoids my calls like the plague. If she wasnt so fragile i would show up with her she would give him hell.

Doesn't the hospital have the information? Contact their discharge planner or even admissions counselor, they will likely either know or know how to get the information. What is the specific thing or things they say they need? - there are ways of getting some things online...

They need all my fathers financial info i filled out all my moms and gave them bank records and and SS records so thats all good but my dad who is 89 and very private may or may not cooperate. My husband went to his house tonight so hopefully he can explain it to him he likes my husband so thats why he went alone. The NH seems very disorganized they just noticed the paper work was incorrect from october. They never called me either only my sister who never responded or told me they were calling. After reading about our rights they should have given us notice.

Well the NH doesn't make the rules, Medicaid does. Estranged is still married and the husband has to cough up half the assets or Medicaid won't pay. So she is all yours until that happens.
