I've spoken with my mother and the family that will be near her if/when my parents move from near me to AZ. To review, Dad has moderate Alzheimer's and mom has degenerative neuropathy and is mentally pretty sharp. It looks crazy externally, but might actually be the best. Current question: has anyone used those senior relocation services that provide guidance and even "concierge" kind of help, arranging estate sales for downsizing, shipping stuff to family members, packing/moving/and unpacking/setting up new home etc etc? Sounds awesome, sounds expensive. Thoughts?

They are basically down-sizing and moving services.

Sorry I posted my reply to you incorrectly as another "answer" and I don't see where to delete it to move it here. :/

Yes, I've seen what they do and the company we will have a consult with is on the nasmm list. But have you used them? Do you feel they are worth the price? Do you have any recommendations of which services were really useful and which ones might be best to handle on our own? I know each case is different but I was hoping for other peoples experiences with the companies. Thank you
