Find Care & Housing
When you mother moves in, I recommend looking for a senior center program or adult day care to provide your mother with good socialization opportunities and you with some blocks of time for your own appointments and errands.

Do you have any specific benefits in mind that might be jeopardized?   Her SS shouldn't be jeopardized; her Medicare benefits would still be viable as long as she provided a new address so Medicare could keep its records current and as long as she still has direct deduction of premiums from her SS.

Retirement/pension/investment benefits address changes should be provided, but I don't see how they'd be affected.

Medicaid might be a different story, but others here are more knowledgeable on that issue than I.

If she's getting Meals on Wheels, check with your local Senior Center to see if she still qualifies.

I hope that the transition is as smooth as it can be for all your family.

I don't know, we recently moved my step father from AZ to FL, he had Part B with United Health Care, they wouldn't cover him here. He is on dialysis and it is very costly. So far, no one wants to touch him with a ten foot pole as his 2018 medical costs ran over 2M, those that considered him had rates that were not doable. Not sure where this will all end up, so far the state is picking up much of the dialysis, he pays $750 a month for his share.
