General estimates on cost of home care?

Speak with Medicaid advisors for your own state for guidance in this matter. They are trained to help you. Contact them by phone or visit Medicaid site for your State. Because states are very individual in qualifications for such programs this is something a Forum of other caregivers cannot explain to you.

You posted under Medicaid so I am assuming that is the care you are seeking; if you already have an aid advisor that is where to start.
MediCARE also will provide some inhome help if your mom is not on supplemental care that is part of an advantage care program. You might want to check with your mom's supplemental insurance for some guides or pointers, suggestions.
The other thing you can try is to visit senior centers and call your local Agency on Aging or Council on Aging with help with forms, applications and etc. Check in with your Mom's doc's office with questions also.

The internet is your friend to get started as well.
I sure wish you good luck.
