I would like my mother to see a more natural doctor. These dreams aren’t new but are more frequent. Somethimes I believe it’s Lewy Body. Her primary doctor really blew it off when it was brought up.Mom has great days and then terrible days. I would like to have her see someone that works in natural repair supplements. Mushrooms like Lions Mane are to be great in helping with issues in the brain. Has anyone else went down this road.I am struggling with what way to turn.

Find Care & Housing
Show us the scientific research that back up claims that Lions Mane and other such natural remedies work. I'm interested.

Be concerned that such remedies are not controlled or vetted by any agency, and it's possible they could be harmful instead of beneficial.

Your Mom needs a Neurologist to determine if she has a dementia and what type. Its important to know what type because of medications. IMO a General Practioner is not qualified to treat Dementia. Its a neurological problem and should be seen by a Neurologist.

I believe you may be on to something.
My brother had Lewy's.
His Hallucinations at night were dreamlike but amazing in being well remembered and very details. I have often spoken of them here, so won't repeat that, but they were definitely hallucinations though he usually had them when getting up to go to the bathroom at night.
Does your mother have other symptoms? Loss of taste or smell? Poor balance, any difficult swallowing? Any hallucinations brought on by patterning (such as hotel carpet or marbling on a wall?

I'm a bit confused by your post. Is your mother frightened by these dreams or bothered by them, or are they just realistic dreams?
I have realistic and very vivid dreams every night and actually enjoy them. I often awake and wonder what in the world was that dream all about. And I'm only 65.
Or are you actually talking about your mother having hallucinations or delusions when she is awake and not asleep, as that is a HUGE difference, and often a sign of dementia?
Regardless of what is going on with your mother there are holistic doctors out there, you just have to do your research.
I see a holistic doctor in the city I live, but unfortunately since I've turned 65 and am now on Medicare, his office doesn't take Medicare, so I have to pay out of pocket when I go see him, which I'm ok with, as he's worth every penny.
Best wishes in finding a good doctor to help your mother.
