This situation is unlikely to have come out of nowhere. This is your first post. We know nothing about who is at the facility and why, what you are trying to fix, what has gone wrong with your original attempts to contact the management in the past, etc etc. If you go to the Ombudsman, you will need to provide all this information. If you want any help from us, you might give it to us before you go to the Ombudsman. Responses from this site might give you a hint about how to approach the Ombudsman or the senior management.

If you are POA or legal guardian, please Contact your State Nursing Home Omsbudsman, ASAP. The nursing home is required to have that info posted and available within their facility to ANYONE who asks for it OR wants to see it. Tell the Omsbudsman what you told us. They will be in charge of getting you a response.

Start texting, emailing, calling or visiting in person their immediate superior. Worked for me.

I think Lea's idea of withholding residential fees until someone agrees to set up an appointment sounds like a good one. Such things do usually tend to get attention quickly.
I would leave a Message on Admin's phone saying:
I have tried repeatedly on ___________give dates to reach you by email, by phone, by text and even in person. I have been unable to do so. We are withholding fees until we are contacted.

Now I am assuming, of course, that you are POA for a person who is incompetent, and that no one else is. Because of course, if you are not, there is no due diligence owed to you.
Best of luck. Hope you will update.

Stop paying the rent, tomorrow is March 1. Let the Executive Director know you will not pay rent until you are directly contacted by him or her and they stop ignoring you. Plan on paying a full months rent before moving your LO out and leaving a bad review on all sites.

I take it you are POA since you put this question under that category.

Are you the PoA for the resident/elder? If not, you may have been "banned" by the person with authority.

If you are the PoA then you should contact an ombudsman to lodge a complaint, or if the facility is owned by a larger organization, go up the ladder to complain, with dates, times, methods, and specifics.

Have you had this problem with communication in the past? Is a certain situation that you're dealing with right now, whether it be with your Mom or with the facility? You can always contact the Ombudsman Society in Mo for possible assistance.
