I was recently released from hospital. After 10 days, I have lost my mobility

Find Care & Housing
Your PCP can prescribe Physical Therapy in the home.

Also, make sure you are eating enough protein.

You need to call your PCP and ask for "in home" physical therapy.

How long were u in the hospital? If over 3 days, was Rehab offered?

What event took you to the hospital?
Did you have good mobility prior to your admission?
Did the doctor send you home without Rehab to try to regain mobility?
What discussion have you had with doctor about your chances to regain full mobility, and what is the plan to work with PT to either gain back your mobility or to adapt to a new way of getting around by wheelchair, etc?
I want to wish you the very best of luck, but to fully discuss what you're going through I sure would need more information.
I want to welcome you to the Forum.

It would help to know why you were in the hospital in the first place, how long you were in there, and what is going on with your body that you've lost mobility.

Do you have a chronic condition? Did you fall? Did you get sick?

At the minimum, you should be talking to your primary doctor about this who would then refer you on to the appropriate specialist.

Please provide more information.

You need physical therapy and should ask your doctor to prescribe it. It can be done in the home with therapists coming to you or at a therapy center. Mobility lost can be hard to regain, taking much exercise and patience. I wish you well getting back on your feet
