In some instances you can work and receive SSD. But there is a limit on how much you can earn a year. My cousin could not do cinstruction work, but he could drive cars from one dealership to another. SSD was aware of this.

Medicaid is usually the only resource that will pay you. You will have to tell them what your income is and when they find out its SSD, they will ask your disability.

SSD does re-evaluated every so often. If your disability has improved, you may lose it.

Probably not depending on the condition you get SSDI for. If you need financial assistance perhaps your parent could pay you for your help. Or you could check with local assistance programs Ike food pantry or utility payments

If one can work, they should not be on SSD. Paid caregiving is a job, one is getting paid to not work.
