Been caring for mom at home. She's now enrolled in home hospice. Her dementia is progressing, but has anyone experienced their loved one screaming, calling your name, keening upon waking? This happens especially at night. She simply won't sleep and keens/screams/moans/calls my name incessantly. The very sound of her voice sends chills through me and I'm just done. Had minimal help from lorazepam, had a bad reaction to seroquel. Anybody experience similar?
She will not let me relax.
